Come join mushroom expert and wild forager Tug DeLuce to learn about Morel Mushrooms and spring greens. The first half of class will be lecture based held inside the retreat center and the second half we will be exploring the Temenos grounds in search of these wild edibles!  Learn the identifying characteristics of this native mushroom and the important role they play in an ecosystem. This foray will equip you with the knowledge to safely identify and find Morels, False Morels, and spring greens using environmental indicators. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for hiking on moderate slopes.
